Oli Brown: Here I Am Review

Here I Am is the latest album from Oli Brown. With a commercial yet soulful voice and an impressive sound on guitar, Brown has developed his own unique sound that will appeal to a wide audience.

The title track, “Here I Am,” kicks off the album and immediately Oli introduces himself and his music with powerful lyrics that give the listener a sense of who he is. “Thinking About Her” is one of the more bluesy tracks on the album. His influences are clearly heard in this tune while still maintaining his own sound. Oli’s cover of “I Love You More Than You’ll Ever Know” by Donny Hathaway is outstanding. To pull off a cover by such an amazing and influential artist is a true testament to Oli’s talent. “Like A Feather,” one of the last tunes on the album, really stands out among the rest of the tunes. It’s a funky/rock tune with a guitar riff equally as catchy as the melody.

Every track on this album has been crafted to perfection. It’s easy to tell when an artist puts their all into what they do and Oli has done just that!
