Kirk Fletcher: My Turn Review
My Turn is the second album from 34-year old bluesman Kirk Fletcher. The album is a great mix of blues songs and instrumentals.
The album starts with the upbeat instrumental “El Medio Stomp,” then slows down into the slower “Found Love,” which is reminiscent of a Robert Cray song.
My Turn contains about half instrumentals. It’s a very easy listening album with some fine guitar playing and a decent amount of horns. There isn’t a bad track out of the bunch. I’d recommend it for anyone into artists like BB King, Robert Cray, etc.
The Review: 9/10
